Living in a townhouse has its perks, enough storage is NOT one of them! That is why I am constantly trying to find ways to store the things I LOVE but without taking up much space. Most of the time I try to sneakily hide them so my place is left looking chic and clean! Here are some suggestions
Better Homes and Gardens have on how those flea market finds or vintage storage compartments can house what you need and what you can't imagine giving up!
I have one of these on my nightstand next to my bed! I usually put hair clips, vitamins, Advil (after those girls nites out!) and other things that I might need once I have gotten into bed.
I LOVE this idea! Mail is always collecting on my bar, on the top of my refrig, everywhere!! I would use this birdcage to divide between read mail, bills, mail for my boyfriend, etc. In fact, I have a bigger vintage birdcage holding my blankets in my living room now, I'm definitely going to transform it and use for my mail.
Another great way to organize mail (Can you tell it is a growing problem in my place?) is to use an old window shutter. I love how they placed fabric over a cork board and attached it to the shutter!
This is PERFECT for all the those little picture frames, vases, or other tiny must haves that you just can't seem to find a spot for!
I think this is my favorite!! You can find old salt and pepper shakers everywhere, here Better Homes and Gardens suggests storing bath salts or maybe even a small tealight candle and situating them near the bathtub.
This one could go hand-in-hand with the above. Use small trophies to house cotton balls, Q-tips, razors, etc.
I don't know about you but all this makes me want to visit the flea market this weekend! What are some savvy ways you store the things you need and love?
great tips. love it all :)
